It hardly seems like five minutes ago that we bounded into 2022 – and now here we are at the end of the year, and just another week left at the coalface before our Christmas shutdown.
And what a year it’s been!
We’ve stuck to our mantra and made countless blank spaces look ace. There’s been a healthy mix of signage – internal and external, internal fitouts, vehicle wraps, window manifestations, big shiny letters, illuminating a church, and some stunning exhibition graphics.
Although mostly in the West Midlands, Mat’s also ventured further afield to help our clients with multi-site operations remaining on brand and consistent, wherever they’re based.
The Personalised Nation team has grown, which has given us greater flexibility and improved (if that was even possible!) our excellent customer service.
Networking plays a huge role in everything we do as a business. Never one to let the side down, Mat has been networking his socks off throughout 2022. He’s even managed to combine his desire to be Tiger Woods with building relationships during a monthly golfers networking event. He’s nailed the networking, and we’ll keep you informed of his progression towards the green jacket ….
Post-pandemic, it’s been fantastic to get back to face-to-face meetings on site. Bringing a blank space to life and recommending improvements is so much easier in person than on a Zoom call. Waiting for that ‘penny drop’ moment on the clients’ face is a great feeling – a genuine buzz that always reminds us why we do what we do.
Amazingly, we’ve also managed to achieve the work/life balance. Being a family business, it can be tempting to work almost 24/7 but our family mantra is work hard, play hard. We highly recommend it!
The highlight of the year has to be Mat’s sky dive back in the Spring. For someone who gets giddy going up a stepladder, the boy did good!
