A few weeks ago Mat and I decided that we were going to channel our inner detectives.
We agreed to take part in an online murder mystery event with the brilliant Andy Fittes and Katie Love from Century Tours.
It was arranged by our BNI Century networking group.
And I’m telling you, we were born for this.
Mat broke out his finest Black Country accent which had me in stitches.
The rest of the group were amazing – we had Australian accents, a (really, really dodgy) Irish accent, a Geisha girl and a chorus girl all trying to figure out whodunit!
Honestly, it was the most fun we’ve had in a long time.
It was such a good evening and it actually felt like we had some normality back in our lives, just hanging out with people having a laugh, checking in and making sure they were getting on ok and just generally avoiding business discussions!
At one point, it really did feel like we’d gone out and weren’t stuck in the house!
Now that the country is coming out of lockdown and businesses are slowly opening up and we are meeting people and embarking on various projects around the country that sense of normality is returning.
The big thing is to be prepared for normality to return.
Whether it’s making sure your new signs are fitted in time, or that your businesses cards and leaflets are primed ready for your first visitors, we’re here to help you make the most of your reopening.
If you’d like to have a chat about preparing for normality, just give me a call on 01543 677794 or send me an email kelly@personalised-nation.co.uk
