Mat has been mixing up his metaphors yet again!
He is always doing it, so much so I have considered writing them all down and writing a book about it.
This is the third one that he’s messed up in the past month…
At the beginning of the month during a meeting with a potential client he said “ in the flash of an eye “ instead of in a blink of an eye.
A week later, with the same client he said that we would kill 2 stones with 1 bird… Yes, let that sink in for a minute.
Imagine me watching him say that!!
A few days later we had “ Crossing the I’s and dotting the T’s.“
Luckily, everyone in the business meeting seemed to miss out on hearing that absolute gem of a line.
OR perhaps they just pretended to miss it.
The kids also find it hilarious when he does it.
It’s so funny to see them bring it up at the hat of a drop…
Oops, seems like living with Mat has had its effect on me too.
While these metaphors from Mat are undoubtedly hilarious, luckily I don’t mess up my metaphors as much…
My favourite one is time is money.
I like this because it is so true.
Every second wasted is costing businesses money.
