I must admit something to you.
My children have me wrapped around their little fingers.
Earlier this week I was out shopping with the 4 kids when they decided to convince me that fidget poppers were essential to their lives and they couldn’t live without them.
Me, being the nice parent that I am, saw their way of thinking and spent what can only be described as a small fortune on 4 of the things.
I went in to get some snacks.
Snacks. That’s it. Snacks.
But then something happened which really made my day.
There I was getting the kids in the car (which, believe me, is no mean feat!) and someone approached me and asked if this was my business, pointing at our sign written car.
I said yes and he went on to ask if we did business printing – order books, leaflets, brochures, business cards and the like.
Again, I said yes.
He then asked if we were local to the area.
Now, we always try to shop local for everything.
The shop we were at was our local community shop who is also a customer of ours.
We know the owners very well and were the ones who provided their new signage.
So, again I said yes and explained where we were.
He replied saying that he also likes to support local businesses and asked if he could pop along to have a chat, to which I agreed.
Today, I spoke to him and he became a customer!
They’ve ordered some order books and even recommended us to one of their colleagues for vehicle graphics.
It just goes to show the power your branding has.
Whether it’s business cards, leaflets, pens or vehicle graphics, there is always someone who is paying attention.
Without the vehicle graphics, we wouldn’t have secured a new customer.
