I do not miss that smell!

But I know what I do miss.

The blazing hot weather.

The extremely dodgy food.

The great company.

The laughs, the giggles.

But most importantly, the music.

Yep, it’s that time of year, festival time.

Now I’m not going to lie, it’s been a while since me and Mat have graced a field, but that doesn’t mean I miss it any less.

And seeing all the Glastonbury highlights on BBC iPlayer this week has really brought it back how much I miss it.

But that’s not saying it’s over and done with, by any stretch of the imagination.

And Glastonbury is definitely on the to do list.

It has been for a while, but work and the tribe have always been in the way.

But with everything that’s gone on over the past few years and my new sense of ‘you only live once’.

The bucket list is growing on a weekly basis.

And Glastonbury will be done, trust me!

Going back to Ibiza is also on my list.

Although Mat says he’s not going as he doesn’t think he could hack it (lightweight).

But I’m going and leaving him at home is a valid option 🙂

So now all we’ve got to do is wait till the kids are a little older, then it’s party time.

It’s going to need to be strategically planned too.

We can’t leave the kids at the moment, well not for 4 days anyway, so we’re going to have to wait till they’re a tad older.

But not too old, nope.

As we don’t want them to be old enough where they think they can join us.

Pfft, why on earth would we want to do that 🙂

Setting your sights to the future so you have things to look forward to is really important I think.

Both at home and at work.

Me and Mat have regular meetings (which usually involve a take-away and a cheeky bevoir) to plan for the future.

To see what we want to do and where we want to go.

We can help plan this within your business.

We can help strategise your print budget for the next 12 months to make sure you get maximum ROI.

It’s all part of our account management and print audit service we offer for all new customers.

Sound interesting?

Then give me a call on 01543 677794 or email me at kelly@personalised-nation.co.uk and let’s have a Zoom meeting to discuss this further.

Right, the time is up

I told you last week I’ve brought a tent, so tomorrow we’re having a sleep over in the garden (weather dependant of course).

It’s not quite a festival, but it will do for now.

What Does ‘Local’ Mean?

Buy local. Support local. Two phrases that we hear day in, day out. But what exactly does ‘local’ mean? In a relatively small country (you can fit the UK into Australia 32 times, and into the state of Texas 2.8 times), the word local may seem overly provincial to some...
